Winnie the Pooh is a classic character from all our childhoods. I remember reading Return to the Hundred-Acre Wood as a child and imagining what it must have been like to live in that world. When I discovered I was expecting, Winnie the Pooh was the first nursery theme that came to mind. It is the perfect gender-neutral theme, with countless options to pick from. This is because Winne the Pooh is now in the public domain, which allows any artist to create designs inspired by the characters.
My baby registry was through Amazon, so most of my nursery accessories were purchased through the website. This list also includes some adorable items that I have found since designing my son’s nursery. This guide will give you basic nursery accessories, with extra options in case you have wiggle room in your budget!

To start off the theme of the nursery, you will want to invest in an adorable bed set. This three-piece crib set is an excellent option since it comes with a quilt, sheet, and crib skirt. It’s nice to not have to search for coordinating bedding. Plus, this set is absolutely adorable.

To add the matching crib set, I also put this mobile on my registry. It’s so cute and goes with the bedding well. My son loves this mobile. I’ll wind it up and he will start smiling and reaching for it. The music the mobile plays is soothing, which is great for calming a crying baby.
My absolute favorite part of my son’s nursery is this decal. It ties a room together and will peel off without damaging your paint. This also makes them reusable.

After my son was born, I decided to purchase closet dividers. You will need some way of organizing all those baby clothes too! These dividers are perfect for a Winnie the Pooh nursery theme.

Babies use a shocking amount of laundry. This laundry bin adds a cute touch to any nursery, instead of making laundry an eyesore. You could also store toys or plushies in it.

This is the perfect throw pillow option for your nursery. Use it to decorating your rocking chair, or any piece of furniture in the nursery.

Using storage bins to add to the nursery decor is a smart move. There will always be toys and other things to organize.

This wooden sign with a vintage white background will help you capture the nostalgia of these beloved characters. It is a super versatile piece, and will add a warmth to your little one’s nursery.
